Man gets 20 years, called a prime example of how drug addiction can ruin a life

WILLIAMSPORT � A Potter County man was sentence Thursday to 20 years in prison and fined $1,600.
The jail term of David Piaquadio, 63, will be followed by three years� supervised release.
U.S. Middle District Judge Christopher C. Conner called the case �particularly disturbing� citing evidence Piaquadio would sell half of the 100 to 120 oxycodone pills prescribed monthly for him and his girlfriend.
The indictment charged him with obtaining more than 5,000 oxycodone and Percocet tablets and in excess of 180 fentanyl patches with a physician�s prescription. Read more.....
